What is the difference between rome and greek
The cities in Ancient Greece were separated by hilly countryside. All the cities were near to water bodies. Rome was an inland country and situated on the banks of River Tiber.
Now talking of art and culture of Greece and Rome, Greek art was considered to be superior to that of Roman Art. One of the sculptors that Greece is widely associated with is Venus de Milo. Romans were good at mosaic or wall painting. The Romans were known for producing realistic portraits.
In terms of economy, the basis of both ancient Greece and ancient Rome was agriculture. Greeks lived on small wheat producing farms but had poor days because of improper agriculture practises.
Also, education was more advanced in Greece. While Rome might have conquered Greece during the reign of their empire. The culture of the Grecian empire is viewed as more important today than Roman culture. Preference in artistic works also differed in ancient times. Roman artists and sculptors valued realism, while Greek artesians created perfect, flawless depictions of their subject. Monuments and other works of art still stand today in Greece and Rome, but pastoral life has been replaced by bustling traffic and honking horns.

Women: In Ancient Greece women had no rights. They were property. In Rome, when ruled by kings, and then under the Republic, women were not property, but they had no rights. During the Empire, Roman women had quite a few rights, but were still not citizens.
